Warsaw Board Game Club

A Board Game Club in Warsaw

We have been running as a board game club in Warsaw for years — not a one-off initiative or a cafe that happens to keep a dozen boxes on a shelf. Our library runs to dozens of titles: heavy economic and euro games, sprawling cooperative campaigns, living card games and adventure titles that fill a whole evening.

We play board games in Warsaw in a way that many players find makes all the difference: every game is set up beforehand, the rules are taught by someone who genuinely knows them, and sessions are played through to the end. This is a club for people who care about the details.

Check the schedule and join our next board game night in Warsaw!

The calendar below lists the dates of our upcoming board game nights. We meet on Friday evenings, from 6:00 pm to 11:30 pm, at Lirowa 42 in Warsaw, in the Ochota district.

You don’t need to know anyone or bring a game of your own. Just turn up — we’ll take care of the rest.

What Sets Us Apart

Our board game club in Warsaw isn’t just a place for a game night — it’s a space where every detail is planned for atmosphere and playing comfort. In our collection you won’t find plain, “base” versions of games — we make a point of investing in the quality of every session.

Expanded editions instead of base games

Our collection mostly consists of expanded editions with all expansions included, carefully maintained and fully sleeved.

Games from Gamefound

A significant part of our board game collection consists of exclusive editions straight from Gamefound campaigns, unavailable through regular retail.

Inserts for every game

We believe that ease of setup is part of the enjoyment of playing, so nearly every game in our club has its own insert.

Player boards

Games like Dune: Imperium, Ark Nova, and Nemesis: Retaliation come with individual player boards for maximum convenience during play.

Deluxe components

Hand-painted miniatures, exclusive Sundrop edition components — details that turn board games into a truly visual experience.

Themed 3D resources

Instead of plain wooden cubes, we use themed 3D resources that add character and immersion to every game.

Terrain pieces

In games where it fits, we use dimensional terrain that brings the board to life and adds spectacle to every session.

A playmat for every player

Every member of our club can choose a themed playmat of their own — a small detail that keeps the table tidier and more pleasant to look at.

Holders, trays, and stands

We have plenty of them — for cards, tokens, and components — so every board game night stays organized instead of turning into chaos on the table.

A constantly growing collection

We regularly add new titles and expansions to the club’s library, so there’s always something new to explore, even for our regular members.

Careful game maintenance

Every card is sleeved, every component has its place: we treat our games as valuable investments, not disposable material.

Come see for yourself — the details matter!

Frequently asked questions about our board game club in Warsaw (FAQ)

Do I need to sign up in advance?

Signing up through our online table helps us prepare the tables, but it is not required. You are welcome to simply turn up at a board game night and join a game that is being set up.

Do I need experience with board games?

No. At every table someone explains the rules from scratch, and we pick games to suit the group. Complete beginners are every bit as welcome here as veterans of heavy euros.

Do I need to bring my own games?

There is no need — the club has its own board game collection, and it keeps growing. That said, if you want to show off a title of your own, we would be glad to play it.

What language do we play in?

We are a Ukrainian board game club in Warsaw and most conversation happens in Ukrainian, but we switch to Polish or English without any trouble. Nobody gets left out at the table because of language.

Can I come on my own?

Absolutely — that is how most of our members started. You will get to know people quickly once you sit down at a table.

Where exactly do you meet?

We meet at Lirowa 42 in Warsaw, in the Ochota district. The venue is easy to reach by public transport and there is parking nearby. You will find the exact location on our contact page.
